Winter Wonder Where the Snow All Landed

It's the shortest winter on record.  It came.....

and now it's gone...

I go out every day and hope....

It's a Winter Wonder Where the Snow All  Landed

Word is...it apparently all landed in Cordova, Alaska

The National Guard's been called in.

They've reportedly received fifteen feet since November.

Roofs are caving in.  Twent eight days of school have been missed.

A Russian Ice Breaker is trying to get much needed fuel to Nome.

  3. We're in the same boat here and I'm afraid that when the snow (and cold!) finally does get here, we're not going to know what hit us! We've all gotten pretty soft :)

  5. Scrappy,

I hear you about snow! In Idaho, there was very little, and now in southern Switzerland, there is none! It's all in Cordova, Alaska, and in Austria, too.

  14. You always were pretty courageous my little Scrappy sis. I would have to agree with your mom on this one, though. Wait a minute...YOU COULD WALK ON TOP OF ALL THAT SNOW, WHEN EVERYONE ELSE WOULD SINK INTO IT! You've gotta go help, Scrappy. You are their ONLY chance. Kisses and barks.
