Sunday, the Peeps decided on a leisurely hike.

 

The Scrapster is always GAME. 

 

We climbed for two hours

 

 

The views were breathtaking

 

 

 

 

 

Fall has arrived in Montana

 

 

These September Days are the best

 

 

 

In the woods, we find wonder

 

 

peace

 

 

 

faith is restored

 

 

Yorkies become Pointers

 

 

and find out just how it feels to get old

 

 

This was ME ~ totally wiped after our Leisurely Sunday Hike

It's the getting out there.  The fresh air.  Taking in the sheer beauty of it all.  It's about the climb.  Seeing the world from up there. 

 

Rain or Shine.  Just go....even if at first, you don't feel like going...Just go, I promise you will feel amazing when you are actually getting somewhere....

                                       And bring your peeple with!  They NEED it TOO!

Quest to be a Q-T Pie ~ Q-Tips Review

It happened awhile back.  An email arrived wondering if I, the Scrapster, would be interested in doing a review of Q-Tips  Precision Tips!?   Before I go much further, I need to let you all know that  I was provided with Q-tips® Precision Tips® cotton swabs and information about the product by Rocket XL. All opinions are 100% my own.  I was honored and flattered that ANYONE wanted my opinion, but first I had to look up what "precision" meant in the dictionary.    Here is the best definition I could find ~ incase you're ALSO wondering...

Cool!  A tool!?  Someone wants me to review a TOOL!?  Okay, this will be fun!

I had no idea what to expect.  Soon, the mailman dropped off a package just for me, the Scrappy one. 

Wow!  It had a Cool logo.  Very pretty Blue.  A package that slides right open.  But it wasn't just one tool.

It was a whole bunch of them ~ lots of little precision tips.   Hmmm... Now what?  I wondered. 

 I found out right away ~ I had NO idea what I was getting into!  I realized very quickly that my Peep was for some reason getting things out of the BATH cupboard!  Oh NO, I thought!  This is a quest to make me a Q-T(ip) Pie!  I tried to run, but no luck.  This was happening.  

First up, my precious eyes.  She put some Crystal Eyes solution on the Precision Tips and used this tool to clean the goop from my eyes.  WOW!  I held very still, but like magic ~ and with gentle strokes, this tool seemed to erase the stuff that accumulates from all of my allergies....

Next up....my ears....no worries!  My peep was careful to stroke gently around the outer surface of the ear only and not put this tool in the actual ear canal!  

                                         Next up....the DREADED BATH!   

              CAUTION!   These next photos are somewhat embarrassing! 

 

 

 

Next, came the very scary HAIR Dryer!   

 

Another Disclaimer ~ I can't show this part, because I behave SO badly when this comes out!  I bark and bite at the AIR!

 

Then, my peep used the Precision Tips to clean my gums and teeth with my oral cleansing solution!   

 

And next, she put Musher's Secret on the Tips and used this tool to put it in all the nooks,

 crannies and surface of my precious pads! 

 

 

THEN, she gave me a make over Hair cut!

 

She called this my Quest to be a Q-T(ip) Pie

 

Worst part is, she tried to make me a Girlie Girl....

 

 

Five seconds later, I shook that silly bow out!

 

Do you think I am now a Q-T(ip) Pie?

 

 

Though I was relieved the worst part (BATH) was over, I have to say...

 

Q-Tips Precision Tips are wonderful tools for pets! 

 

Like the package says....they are ideal for reaching small spaces....their tapered tips at both ends make for some effective PET grooming!

Rock Climbing

Remember this guy?  My Friend in the Fountain?

Saturday night on the deck - just after the sun went down and my peep couldn't see real well...

I brought MY friend to her in my mouth!  "Ewwwwwwwwwwwww!"  She said.

I let him go.  He was fine.  He hopped away and I was quite upset when all the peeps on the deck kept saying NO NO NO!

He LET me catch him.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 

Too Mad to Even Look at You

This is SO embarassing!

Sweet Flutter Byes

The World is more beautiful because of Butterflies.

It's true.  Can you imagine a world without such an amazing creature?

They fly fast and free.

A group of these creatures is called a Flutter.

That's why I call them Sweet Flutter Byes.

 I  never seem to be able to catch one no matter how hard I try.

They just sweetly flutter bye!

They taste food with their feet!

Flutter Byes weigh less than two rose pedals

and are lighter than a piece of paper

Energy comes from the nectar.

Transformed from a caterpillar in a cocoon for seven whole days,

it magically and mysteriously flutters out after drying off its' new wings, and flies.

Fast and free, dancing in the wind and fluttering bye.

There's no catching these.  That's the Scrappy truth

and it's not for lack of trying.
